Cynthia Team Foster of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully on ­­­­­­­­­Monday, February 28, 2022.

Cynthia was born December 28, 1943 in Columbia, South Carolina.  She was the daughter of the late John Lawrence Team and Helen Clarke Team of Camden, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Camden High School and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Columbia College in 1993.  Cynthia worked for years in the legal profession for many elite lawyers in Camden, Florence, and Columbia.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Clarke Team of Nashville, Tennessee; her daughters Sarah Lawton Foster of Florence and Jane Foster Anderson (Joseph Major Anderson, III) of Columbia; her twin grandsons Foster Major Anderson and Clarke Austin Anderson; and her granddaughter Mary Katerina Foster. 

A graveside service will be held at 2 o’clock on Thursday, March 3rd at the Quaker Cemetery, 713 Meeting Street, Camden, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any no-kill animal shelter of your choice or to the Sjogren’s Syndrome Foundation, 10701 Parkridge Blvd, Suite 170, Reston, VA 20191 or to the World Wildlife Federation, PO Box 97180, Washington, DC 20090.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Medford Nursing Center in Darlington and McLeod Hospice House in Florence for their care, comfort, and support.
