CAMDEN- A private graveside service for Odell Bowen, 89, will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital.

Mr. Bowen passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020. Born on May 21, 1931, in Lugoff he was a son of Veda Bowen Branham. Mr. Bowen served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post 17 and Emmanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of almost 66 years, Doris Hatfield Bowen; children, Michael Odell Bowen (Linda) of Camden, Teresa Baker (Larry) of Cassatt, Rhonda Neal (Andy) of Kershaw; brother, Gene Branham; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Oscar Branham.
