Scott Woodward Budd was born March 12, 1951 in Lumberton, NJ, he was the son of the late Blair and Irene Woodward Budd.

Scott Woodward Budd, 69, of Elgin died Sunday, April 26, 2020.

Scott was a veteran of the US Coast Guard during the Vietnam era, and a retired superintendent of the Public Works Department in Surf City, NJ. A volunteer fireman, Scott served both the Surf City, NJ and Stafford Township, NJ fire companies. He was an avid surfer.

He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth Watts Budd; sister, Patricia Baruzzi (Robert) of Glassboro, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Buddy and Levon.

Scott was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Andrew Budd.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Stafford Township Volunteer Fire Company, PO Box 171, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
