Ralph Ray Robinson was born August 20, 1933 in Cassatt, he was a son of the late Gilliam Robinson and Fannie Mae Ray Robinson.

Ralph Ray Robinson, Sr., 74, of Cassatt, died November 15, 2007.
He retired from DuPont where he worked for 32 years. A founding member of the Cassatt Fire Department, he was still actively involved and served as a former Chief. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Mr. Robinson was a member of Cassatt Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.
Surviving were his wife, Eloise Roberts Robinson of 54 years; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Robinson and Larry Brazell of Cassatt, and Diane Robinson and Marshall Hardin of Cassatt; sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Ray, Jr. and Darlene Robinson of Cassatt, and Allen and Donna Robinson of Lugoff; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Millie Robinson of Cassatt, and Johnny Robinson and Terri Robinson of Camden; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie Humphries of Camden, Dorothy and Howard West of Camden, Emogene Mickle of Ridgeway, Betty Lou and Clyde King of Cassatt, and Susie and Dennis Russ of Ridgeway; eleven grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by brothers, James Robinson and G.O. Robinson; and brothers-in-law, Bobby Mickle and Grady Humphries.
Funeral Service were held Saturday, November 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Cassatt Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends Friday, November 14, 2007, 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Cassatt Baptist Church or the Cassatt Fire Department.
