Ranges – Thompson

Trudy Anita Thompson of Camden and Scott Richard Ranges of New Lexox, Ill., were married Saturday at Shandon United Methodist Church. The 2 p.m. cermony was performed by the Revs. Sinclair Lewis and Luther Rickenbaker and was followed by a reception at the Faculty House.

The bride, daughter of Foy Campbell and Trudy Griffin Thompson of Camden, earned a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education from Clemson University. She is a teacher at Blaney Elementary School in Elgin.

The bridegroom, son of Richard L Ranges and Barbara H Ranges of New Lenox, earned a bachelor of arts degree in behavioral science from the University of Chicago. He is a teacher at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School.

After a wedding trip to Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and Lake Junaluska, N. C., the couple will reside in Columbia.
