Blaney Baptist Church of Elgin was the scene of the 5 p.m. wedding Saturday of Miss Deborah Ann Justice and Michael Alan Truell, both of Elgin. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. William L. Coates, and a reception followed in the fellowship hall of church.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benny Adam Justice. She is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School and Kershaw County School of Practical Nursing. She will continue her education at Midland Technical College in the fall and will join the nursing staff at Providence Hospital in Columbia.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Truell Jr. (Dorothy Miles Truell) of Elgin, is a graduate of Lugoff-Elgin High School. He is also a graduate of the Air Traffic Controllers School in Mississippi and is employed by Anchor Continental of Columbia.

After a wedding trip to the mountains of North Carolina and Lake Murray, the couple will reside in West Columbia.
