Sarah Ruth “Sallie” Ross Bradley was born December 12, 1871 in Blaney, Kershaw County, South Carolina to Brown C Ross and Mrs. Mary Moak Ross.

1941

On May 15, 1941, Mrs. J. W. Bradley was listed as a surviving sister in The obituary of Rufus B. Ross.

1951

On December 18, 1951, Mrs. John W. Bradley was listed in the newspaper article “Dead Victims of Auto Wreck Identified.

On December 19, 1951, Mrs. John W. Bradley was listed in the newspaper article “3rd Victim of Colonial Drive Wreck Dies; Rites Set for Mrs. St. John, Mrs. Derrick.”

1953

Sarah Ruth “Sallie” Ross Bradley, 82, the widow of John W Bradley, died on Sunday morning, October 11, 1953 at 6:30 in her home in Blaney, following a long illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bradley, were held at 4 p.m., October 12, 1953 at Union Baptist Church here, with interment in the church cemetery.

Surviving were a son, Clifford Bradley of Dade City, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Rhett Hinson of Columbia; a brother J. T. Ross of Landrum; and two granddaughters.

Active pallbearers were Ernest Hinson, Willie Ross, Willerbe Ross, Leonard Hamlin, George Ross and Jack Ross.

Honorary pallbearers will include Logan Nelson, B. H. Rose, C. W. Wooten, Paul Ross, Leslie Moak, Tom Keith, E. Talmage Bowen and Alton Nelson.
