Mr. and Mrs. Frank McWhit and son, Ronald McWhit, and Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Clark of River drive spent Sunday in Spartanburg with D. and Mrs. J. C. McCoy and Marilyn McCoy. Marilyn celebrated her ninth birthday on that date.

Reid Atkinson, Jr. and Pearlie Dozier are visiting relatives and friends at Ballentine’s Landing, Lake Murray. She was accompanied home by Esther Ruth Fouche.

Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Garrett and son, Don Garrett of Atlanta, Georgia, are visiting Mr. J. W. Fisher and family on Columbia avenue.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Wasson of Laurens visited Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Hellams at their home on Lincoln street the past week.

Karl V. Macklin of Charleston is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Shealy the weekend.

Betty Jane Corley spent the past weekend with Doris Bundrick and Carolyn Haltiwanger.

Frank Queen and Tony Howard of Atlanta, Georgia, are the guest of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Shealy and family this weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Owens and children and Mr. and Mrs. Reid Atkinson and children visited in Clinton Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Ballard and Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Haltiwanger and family spent last Sunday in Sumter.

Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Gause of Savannah, Georgia, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Guy. They attended to graduation exercises of Columbia high school. Mrs. Gause’s brother, Murphy Wessinger, was a member of the graduating class.

Mrs. J. O. Summers of Blaney spent Friday with Mrs. Harry Summers at her home on River drive.

Mrs. James Rimer went to Spartanburg Wednesday to attended the birthday party of her niece, Dorothy Bachelor.
