Va., Fay Hammond of Chesterfield, Miss Sara Elizabeth Huges of Loris, Miss Wyona Alice Sanders of Blaney, Miss Margaret Easterling Spann of Bamberg, Miss Miriam Scott Epps of Greenville, Miss Julian Fripp of Columbia, Miss Mary Grace Cochran of Great Falls. Miss Nancy Hornsby of Newberry, having passed her final examination in the comptometer course, has been awarded her certificate.

Miss Wilma Rebecca Dinkins of Lugoff having obtained a speed of 50 words a minute, was awarded her certificate in touch typewriting during the week.

Hattie Rachel Iseman of Hartsville, having obtained a speed of 61 words a minute in touch typewriting, was awarded her certificate during the week.

Miss Sara Kelly Jenkins, a former student, was a welcomed visitor at the school Monday.

Miss Hettie Dowtin of McCormick left school during the week to accept a position with the Columbia branch of a national business firm.

Miss Frances Coker of Columbia has accepted a position with a business concern in the city.

Miss Marcella Eubanks of Columbia has accepted a part-time secretarial position in the city.

Miss Sarah Huges of Loris had as her guest last weekend, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bellamy of Lake City.

Miss Mary Louise Hook of Columbia is spending the weekend in Florence with her brother.

Miss Ruth Singletary is visiting her father, F. R. Singletary, at her home with her mother, Mrs. Malcolm J Turner.

Miss Gladys Turner of Florence is spending the weekend at her home with her mother, Mrs. Malcolm J Turner.

Miss Mildred Mahaffey is visiting her parent, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Mahaffey, in Barnwell this weekend.

Miss Minnie Frances Hargrove of Marion is spending the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Hargrove.

Miss Esther Diamond is spending the weekend in Barnwell with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M C Diamond.
