Ridgeway, June 4 – Fayssoux Palmer, from the Dental college, Atlanta, spent a part of this week with his parents.
Miss Janie C. Thomas is spending this week at McMaster cottage at Montreat.
Miss Eva Nicholson is at home from Manning, where she had been teahing.
Miss Jean Starnes of the Blaney school was at home for a part of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jones and son of Union have returned home after several days with Mrs. Jones’ parents.
Miss Rosa Thomas is at home from Converse college for the summer months.
Mrs. A. H. McCarrel of Washington is here for a visit to relatives and friends.
Mrs. Hartwell Taylor entertained the Bridge club Tuesday afternoon. The high club score was made by Mrs. J. S. Edmunds, Mrs. L. E. Hooten scored high amoung visitors.
Invitations have been received to the marriage of Miss Catherine McCarrel to Kirkman G. Finlay, Jr., June 14 in St. Stephen’s Episcopal church. Miss McCarrel is pleasantly remembered here, where she was graduated from high school before entering the university. She is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. McCarrel, formerly of Columbia, now of Washington, D. C.
