Obituary of Freida Mae Moore McLeod

Dalzell- A funeral service for Freida Mae Moore McLeod, 72, will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Church in Rembert, S.C. The Rev. Angela Halter Marshall will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Church at 3480 Leach Dr., Sumter, S.C. 29154

     Mrs. McLeod passed away at home on September 8, 2023 surrounded by her family. Born in Dalzell, she was a daughter of the late Frealin and Ila Mae Moore. Mrs. McLeod was a member of St. John Church since birth. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

    Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Olin McLeod; daughter, Angie Melvin (Kenion) of Lugoff, sister, Harriett Wilfong; and grandchildren, Garrett Melvin and Caroline Melvin.
