 Sylvia D. Bedenbaugh, 85, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born June 16, 1938, in Darlington County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late James T. Dalrymple and the late Atha H. Dalrymple.  

She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend.  Mrs. Bedenbaugh was a member of Belin Memorial United Methodist Church where she served and was a member of several groups over the years.  She also participated in her community Garden Club, the Inlet Square Mall Walkers, and the Red Hats.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas D. Bedenbaugh, Sr. and a sister, Gwendolyn D. Webb.  Sylvia is survived by her son, Thomas Bedenbaugh, Jr. and wife, Gilda; daughter, Paige Kilton and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Nathan Bedenbaugh; Jorie Abbott, and husband, Ryan; Olivia Kilton; Jared Kilton, and fiancé, Cecilia Ramos; a daughter-in-law, Susan Inabinet; and a dear friend, Dottie Anderson.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 18, 2023 at Belin United Methodist Church with the Reverend Will Malambri officiating.  The family will receive friends following the services.
