Judy Arrants Brown, 54, of Lugoff, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Born in Bishopville, SC on June 27, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Arrants and Betty Outlaw Arrants, and the wife of Leslie Timothy “Tim” Brown, Sr. Judy was a member of Bethel Worship Center in Camden. She was a devout Christian, and her faith was always important to her. She worked for over 15 years as a teacher of marketing and retail at ATEC in Camden, where she worked tirelessly to make an impact on each student in her care. Teaching predominantly young girls, Judy would often become not only their teacher, but their confidant, mentor, and friend. She found great reward in using her teaching career to make a positive difference in the lives of her students. Judy was an extroverted “people-person” who enjoyed listening to music, taking trips to the beach, and going on cruises. Judy loved her family dearly and will be forever remembered as a loving and faithful wife, mother, teacher, and friend.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her sons, Leslie Timothy “Tim” Brown, Jr. (Brittney), and Chandler Jacob Brown.

The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. A graveside service will follow at 3:30pm at Quaker Cemetery, Camden.
