Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Jean Baker Brown, 72, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6th, 2022 at Calvary Tabernacle Church. The Rev. Tim Skipper and The Rev. Russell Gainey will officiate with a committal service to follow at Magnolia Cemetery officiated by The Rev. Mark Hopkins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the residence, 40 Lakeshore Dr., Camden, SC 29020. The Directors of Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home and Crematory are caring for the family.

Mrs. Brown entered into rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Born in Hartsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late L. E. Baker and Geneva Tyner Baker. She enjoyed watching The Golden Girls, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Gunsmoke. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by all.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda McCaskill (Darryl) of Camden, SC, Candee Utt (Freddie) of Edmond, OK; stepson, Randy Self of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Matthew McCaskill, Jonathan McCaskill, Brandon McCaskill, Freeda McCaskill, Leah McCaskill, Caroline Gainey, McKenzie Alford, Lilly Alford, Chyanne Brown, Freddie Utt, II, Jared Utt, Erin Self, Clint Self; siblings, Donnie Baker (Carol), Diane Portman, David Baker (Charlene); 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, William Leroy Self, Clint Justin Self; brother, Rev. Jim Baker; sister, Shirley O’Neal.
