LUGOFF – Funeral service for Maude Branham Cherry, 93, will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. at Bethel Worship Center in Camden with burial to follow in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The Rev. Raymond Sellers will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cherry, wife of the late Jimmie McRay Cherry, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Born in Blaney, she was the daughter of the late John Herbert Branham and Daisy Sloan Branham. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jimmy Cherry (Cathy); daughters, Debra Sellers (Ronald), Cheryl Buford (Les), Melissa Johnson (Glenn); 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Artie Ray Cherry; and siblings, Ruth Branham Morgan, Leona Branham Smith, Leonard Branham, J.W. Branham and Juanita Branham Coker.
