Relius Jimmy Womack was born on 07 Jun 1935 in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina, USA a child of Relius Dee Womack and Alice Campbell. He had three siblings, namely: Paul D Womack Sr, Virginia Womack, and Violet Ann Womack.


When he was 21, he married Martha Haynes about 1957.


Relius Jimmy Womack lived in Easley, Pickens, South Carolina, USA on 13 Oct 1983. 


He lived in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, USA on 01 Jun 1995. 


He lived in Lugoff, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA on 15 Sep 2010. 


A funeral service to celebrate the life of Relius Jimmy Womack, 86, of Lugoff, will be held at First Baptist Church on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 2:00PM. Rev. Phillip Gerrald and Rev. Chris Hanley will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Quaker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00PM, an hour prior to the service, in the Fellowship Hall.

Jimmy died Friday, September 3, 2021. Born in Rockingham, NC, he was the son of the late Relius Dee Womack and Alice Campbell Womack. Jimmy served in the US Army during the Korean War, was a member of 1st Baptist Church, and retired as a vice president at Belk Simpson Group, where he worked for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Martha Haynes Womack; children, Michael Keith Womack of Rock Hill, Suzanne Womack Corley (Bill) of Columbia, Brett Womack (Nora) of Columbia, and Gregg Alan Womack of Lugoff; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was predeceased by his sisters, Violet and Virginia, and his brother, Paul.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
