Graveside services for Grace Long Brown, 94, of Columbia, formerly of Elgin, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church. Rev. Timothy Mciver will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.

Grace died Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Henry Long and Harriett Fetner Long, and wife of the late Curtis E. Brown. Grace was employed with the family business “Trade Binders” in Columbia, SC. Grace was a USO volunteer in World War II.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin E. Brown of Columbia; son, Victor Thomas Brown (Joanna) of King’s Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Sharon E. Brown of Leesville, Victor Thomas Brown, Jr. (Erin) of Chapin, and Mandy Kneece (Cody) of Graniteville; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Dalton McCartha, Austin Shane Brown, Lydia Grace Brown, Bristol Lee Kneece, and Victor Thomas “Truitt” Brown, III.

Grace was predeceased by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Richard H. Long, Jr., William H. Long, and George F. Long; and her sister, Abbie Lorena Long.
