LUGOFF – Funeral services to celebrate the life of Kim Marie Truesdale Duval, 56, will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Charles Everett will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-6 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Mrs. Duval passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020. Born in 1964 in Alamogordo, NM, she was a daughter of the late Jack Swanson Truesdale, Sr. and Geneva Suzanne Hall Truesdale. She was a loving and caring wife and mother who never met a stranger. You could usually find Kim sipping a glass of sweet tea on the front porch or watching a true crime show. Her love of and talent for cooking showed in all the recipes she shared with her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Frank Duval; daughter, Savannah Truesdale; son, Spencer Duval; siblings, Larry Hall, Jack Truesdale, Jr. (Cathy), Matthew “Ken” Truesdale, Sr. (Anna), and Regina “Gina” Hudson (Craig).

She was predeceased by her son, Wyatt Duval.
