GASTON – William Thomas “Tommy” Jay, 50, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Born in Camden, he was the son of Barbara Arledge Varnadore and the late Ruben H. Jay, Jr. He was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving are his mother, Barbara Varnadore of Bishopville; wife, Ashley Nicole Myers; children, Brittney Wilson, Megan Danielle Jay, Ruben Jay, Breyden Jay and Aichlin Jay; brother, Eric Jay; and 5 grandchildren.

A time of gathering to celebrate Tommy’s life will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
