ELGIN – Mary Lou Halterman, 79, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020. Born June 16, 1941 in Guthrie Center, IA, she was a daughter of the late Harry Clyde and Opal Belle Hupp. Mrs. Halterman enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Delos Alvin Halterman; daughter, Tracy Ann Wiebelhaus (Tom) of Elgin; son, Delos “Chris” Halterman (Jeri) of MO; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Jacob Halterman; and siblings, June Baugher, Dorothy Boss, Richard Hupp, and Delbert Hupp.
