Born February 5, 1959 in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Bennie Johnson Sr. and Gene and Judy Presley Rogers. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and woodworking.

Bennie Johnson, Jr. 61, of Camden passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Stephanie Baker Johnson; daughters, Brandie Smith (Allen) of Camden and Amanda Watts (Brandon) of Elgin; son, Bennie Blake Johnson of Camden; sister, Linda Gainey of McBee; and grandchildren, Madaline Johnson, and Anne and Joshua Watts.

He was predeceased by his sister, Jolene Jackson.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Memorials may be made to Camden First Church of the Nazarene Youth and Kids Ministries.
