Aristeo Pesina was born September 3, 1948 in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the son of Inez Pesina and Maria Garcia Pesina.

Aristeo Pesina, 71, of Elgin, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020.

He retired from the United States Army having served 12 years in service to his country including 2 ½ tours in Vietnam. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from LSU. Mr. Pesina spent time in his working career selling insurance, working on the pipe line, offshore oil rig, and counseling. He enjoyed writing, leather tooling, basket weaving and cooking.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Wight Pesina; and stepson, Paul D. Wight.
