Julian Sammy Beard was born January 11, 1945 in Turbeville, SC, he was the son of the late Pauline Welch.

Julian Sammy Beard, 75, of Lugoff, SC, died Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Julian was survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Ann Campbell Beard; son, Samie Julian Beard, Jr. (Annmarie) of Lugoff; daughters, Angela Pierson (Glen) and Amanda Beard, both of Lugoff; grandchildren, Skyler, Jordan, Triston, Ashley, Shelly, Lindsey, Daniel, Hayley, and Raymond; great-grandchildren, Kaysen, Matthew, Bentley, Michael, Greyson, Riley, Maci, and Wyatt; and a brother, Frankie Beard, of Lugoff.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by a daughter, Tammy Garner.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
