William Dewey “Bill” Boling, III, was born June 24, 1958 in Winston-Salem, N.C., he was the son of William Dewey Boling Jr. and Katharine Singleton Boling.

William Dewey “Bill” Boling, III, 61, of Camden, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
He served in the United States Navy and was currently a computer Technician for Unitrends. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, repairing things, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Alison Lucas Boling; son, Will Boling (Grace) of Elgin; daughter, Abbi Boling of Camden; sisters, Michelle Brumble, Stephanie Mitchell (Jamey), Rebecca Burr (David) and Celeste Kennedy (Adam); brothers, Christopher Boling (Cathy) and Jonathan Boling; grandchildren, Weston Boling, Wade Boling and Mullins Boling; and nieces, nephews and 1 great nephew.
A private family service was held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Friends may watch the service via Facebook Live. The Rev. Bruce Hancock will officiate. Burial will be held in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amputee Coalition of America or Gideons International.
On December 2, 2020, Bill Boling was listed as the deceased son-in-law in the obituary of William Jones “W.J.” Lucas.
