Genevieve “Gen” Harden was born June 28, 1939 in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Z. Hardin and Lillie Bell Nichols Hardin.

Genevieve “Gen” Harden, 80, of Camden passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020.

She was a registered nurse and retired from Kershaw County Karesh Wing. Gen loved Jesus and shared His love with all she came in contact with. She was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed playing golf.

She is survived by 6 nieces and 1 nephew.

She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth J. Parker; and brothers, Edmund Z. Harden, Jr., Lehman D. Hardin and Willie J. Hardin.

Graveside service for will be held on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Matthew Derrick will officiate.
