Mary Vassil Reynolds, 94, of Lugoff, SC, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The family will hold a private burial, and a public memorial service at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. John’s Methodist Church, 45 Roseborough Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, Mary was the daughter of the late John Vassil and Fanny Vassil, and the wife of the late James Henry Reynolds. She worked as an Administrative Officer for the Pentagon and was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Mary was well loved by her family and friends. She was an active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church for many years. She was very respected and appreciated by many members of St. John’s Methodist Church. She also was a member of the Red Hat’s Club as well. She loved to travel and enjoy time with her close friends and relatives. She was vivacious and an incredibly caring and loving person to all.
Mary is survived by her children, James H. Reynolds, Jr. (Susan Reynolds) of Sunset Beach, NC, and Cheryl Ann Reynolds, stepdaughter Karen Murphy (Stephen Murphy) of Champaign, IL and family, grandchildren Eric Reynolds and Wade Reynolds.
She was predeceased by her parents.
