Phyllis Shirley Ragar was born in Camden, S.C. Her parents were the late Homer and Lillie Belle Shirley.
Phyllis Shirley Ragar, 78 passed away March 30, 2020. She was a resident of North Fort Myers for the past 16 years. In her early years she was blessed by three beautiful daughters while living in Camden. Later on they all moved to Florida where her children started their own families. She loved visiting her family and friends back in Camden. She had a special aunt , Frances Cameron who she enjoyed spending time with. She also looked forward in visiting months at a time with her brother Tim and his wife Vickie. She loved her Lord and Savior and enjoyed singing gospel songs. She cherished the thought of attending her First Cousin’s Christmas party every year. She was full of fun and laughter and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She was survived by her children Tina Lewandowski (Luke), Gayle Kirkland (Jimmy), brothers Grayson Shirley (Sharon), Rev. Tim Shirley (Vickie), sister in law Sebrena Shirley. She was also blessed with five grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Ernest G. (Bill, Ricky) Ragar, a daughter Renee and her brother Rev. Joel Shirley.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Lugoff Church of God.
