Janice Portee Jackson was born August 22, 1965, in Camden, she was a daughter of Alfius Reddick and Lucinda Portee.

Janice Portee Jackson, 54, of Cassatt passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020.

Mrs. Jackson was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church and Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving were her husband of 38 years, Michael Jackson; mother, Lucinda Portee; Father, Alfus Reddick; children, Michelle P. Washington (Carlton), Michael M. Jackson (Kodi Bradley); grandchildren, Makia, Mariah, Marshawn Jackson; and siblings, Victor Portee, Reggie Portee, Tony Portee, Al Reddick and Amp Reddick.

She was predeceased by siblings, Kenney Portee and Jeanette Edwards.

A private graveside service for Janice Portee Jackson, 54, was held in HYCO Baptist Church Cemetery. A public viewing was held at Powers Funeral Home on Monday, March 23, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
