Lawrence Gilbert Cox, Jr. was born March 24, 1950 in Middletown, OH, he was a son of Lawrence Gilbert Cox, Sr., and Maureen Frances Patrick Beaver.

Lawrence Gilbert Cox, Jr., 69, of Lugoff, passed away Monday, March 10, 2020.

Mr. Cox enjoyed reading, writing, painting and drawing.

Surviving were his wife, Wanda Babb Cox; son, Jonathan Cox; siblings, Patty Baker, Kay Buhrow, Robert Cox, Mark Cox; and 4 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sons, Anthony Cox, John David Thorpe, and Mike Thorpe.

A memorial service was private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Powers Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
