A graveside service to celebrate the life of Katherine Lucille “Lucy” Geddings Price, age 85, of Lugoff, SC, will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. David Robinson will officiate.

Lucy was born in Sumter, SC, the daughter of the late Marvin Ansel and Annie Avins Geddings. She and family moved to the Lugoff/Camden community in the early sixties and lived there for 30+ years and was a member of Lugoff First Baptist Church. Lucy worked as a watchmaker at the Elgin Watch Company.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Price Hardwicks; brother, Marvin Dale Geddings (Caty); sister, Betty Lou Geddings Stokes; sister-in-law, Azile Geddings; and many nieces and nephews, along with many cousins from the Geddings family that have been residents and business owners of the Camden community for 70+ years. 

In addition to her parents, Lucy was predeceased by her son, Burrel “Butch” E. Price; brothers, Harley Willis Geddings and Robert Ansel Geddings, and his wife, Gunes.
