George Edward Tsirigotis was born May 18, 1927 in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of Lambros Tsirigotis and Anna Mae Package.

George Edward Tsirigotis, 92 of Camden, died on Friday, January 24, 2020.

George was a Navy veteran, having served in the Korean War, and retired from DuPont. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Marilyn Watts Tsirigotis; sisters, Stella Cartwright of Greenacres, FL, and Sarah Laird (Ken) of Canton, Ga; and brother, Nicholas Tsirigotis (Barbara) of Irving, TX.

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his brothers Stephen and Andrew Tsirigotis and his sister Angie Drake.

The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant Place for their loving care.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.

A funeral service was held at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Phillip Gerrald officiated. Burial followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family received friends at 12:00 PM on January 29 in the Fellowship Center. Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church.
