Kathryn Marguerite Hilton was born December 13, 1927, the daughter of Joseph Cephus Hilton, Jr. and Nell Truesdale Amoruso.

Kathryn Marguerite Hilton, age 92, of Camden, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

Marguerite graduated from The New York School of Writing and received additional training at the Art League of Los Angeles. A Mystic, she had five books and several articles nationally published; her writings won several awards.

She is survived by her nieces, Karen Vincent (Jerry), Cheryl Broughton (Mike), Ann LaCarter (Steve), and Kay Hough; nephew, Joseph Hilton; and cousins, Alice Gardner, Billy Clyburn (Joan), Vera Phillips, Pamela McLaugh (William); and Hoyt Junior McCaskill (Ann).

Marguerite was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Grady and Jake Hilton; niece, Pamela Powell and nephew, Ritchie Hilton.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Dekalb Baptist Church. A viewing took place in the church at 10:00 AM.
