CAMDEN – A memorial service for William Earl “Billy” McIlwain, 51, will be held Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3-4 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kershaw County ALPHA Center.

    Billy passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019. Born in Wichita, KS, he was a son of the late Erscin and Joline Davis McIlwain. Billy enjoyed fishing and hanging out with friends.

    Surviving are his siblings, Tommie E. McIlwain (Sharon), Denise Williams (Roy Parsons), Debbie Kelly (Marty); and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and a brother, Gary McIlwain.
