Matthew Tate Boland was born February 26, 1986 in Camden, the only child of Eric Jeffrey Boland and Cecelia Brown Boland,

Matthew Tate Boland, 30, of Camden, SC, died Sunday, January 1, 2017.

He was a CMA class of 2003 graduate.

Matthew was survived by his wife of 3 years, Lauren Thompson Boland; daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Boland; and paternal grandmother, Phyllis Boland Hovis (Ray) of Chapin.

Matthew was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Ernest “Hickey” Boland and his maternal grandparents, Delia and Cecil Brown.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial service was held at 4:30 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Camden Military Academy, Cline Chapel. The family received friends from 5:00-6:30 PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camden Military Academy, 520 Highway 1 North, Camden, SC 29020.
