Cherie was survived by her husband; son, Mark John Anson (fiancée, Deborah Cox) of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Heidi Jo Walters (Eddie) of Hartsville, SC; step-daughter, Angela Renee Barrett of Florence, SC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Desrosiers of Winston Salem, NC and Flo Overbay (Howard) of Richland, VA; brother, Rev. Norman Desrosiers (Barbara) of Melbourne, FL, and special friend, Izetta Wright.
Cherie was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Desrosiers.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2017 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel., Rev. Norman Desrosiers, Jr., officiating. Burial in Quaker Cemetery. The family received friends from 6:00-7:30 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel.
