Lillie Rodgers Hornsby Jackson, 90, of Camden, SC, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 after an extended illness.
Lillie was a retired seamstress and a dedicated member of Malvern Hill Baptist Church.
Lillie was survived by her daughter-in-law, Jan Jackson; grandchildren, Jeff Jackson (Amy) and Jayne Jackson Crump (Matt); great-grandchildren, Christopher and Tyler Jackson, Jackson and Josiah White, Trevor and Julianne Crump and a host of nieces and nephews.
Lillie was predeceased by her two husbands, Eddie Hornsby, Jr. and Claude G. Jackson; step-son, Joe Wayne Jackson; sisters, Selma Hinson, Willie B. Hall and Lillian Etters; and brothers, H. M. Rodgers and Manning C. Rodgers.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.
A funeral service was held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Malvern Hill Baptist Church, Rev. Buster Morris and Rev. Luke Tolbert officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received friends at 1:00 PM, 1 hour prior to the service in the church and at the home of Jim and Pat Lantz at other times. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1514 Malvern Hill Drive, Camden, SC 29020.
