Linda Free Odom was born July 06, 1953 to Robert L. Free and Betty Jackson Free.

Linda Free Odom, 63, of Elgin, South Carolina, passed away December 13, 2016.

She was survived by her husband Ernie L. Odom of Elgin, S.C.; daughter Sarah C. DeFanti (Benjamin) of Rochester, N.Y.; son Steven L. Odom (Meagan) of Elgin, S.C.; 4 grandchildren, Parker, Bane, River and Southerlyn; one sister Patsy Barnett of South Congaree, S.C.; and one brother Robert L. Free, of Wagener, S.C.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert L. Free and Betty Jackson Free; and by one son Timmy L. Odom.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, was in charge of the arrangements.

A memorial service was held at 11 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Cornerstone Church of God of Prophecy in Camden, S.C.; Pastor Phil Crocker officiated. The family received family & friends from 6:00-7:30 P.M. Friday, December 16, 2016 at Kornegay Funeral Home Lugoff-Elgin Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America, 107 Westpark Boulevard, Suite 150, Columbia, S.C., 29210.
