
Dana Ray Arnold was born in Washington, DC on October 25, 1949, he was the son of Noah Lee Arnold and Virginia Elizabeth Evans Arnold.
Dana Ray Arnold of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.
He attended Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia, and graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Arnold held a private pilot license and ATP rating. His love for sales and aviation led him to Bombardier Learjet where he worked for twenty years. He retired as Vice President of Sales, USA, in Dallas, Texas, and was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church.
Surviving were his wife, Leslie D. Arnold, and three daughters, Kathryn Leigh Arnold Rich (Tyler Rich), Lindsey Arnold Henry (Dr. Zachary Henry), and Elizabeth Ruth Arnold (Travis Cook). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Severs Choate.
Mr. Arnold was passionate about animals and supporting our veterans. Memorials may be made to Puppies Behind Bars (http://www.puppiesbehindbars.com/home), a charity that provides trained service dogs to veterans. Other donations may be made to the Lone Survivor Foundation (http://lonesurvivorfoundation.org/#), a foundation that provides healing services to our veterans.
