Obituary of Connie Elaine Nates – May 20, 1958

Nates Infant Dies at Hospital

Connie Elaine Nates, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge D. Nates of Rt. 3, Columbia, died at 10 o’clock Sunday night at the Columbia Hosptial.

Survivors, in addition to the parents, include a sister, Elizabeth Hope Nates, and two brothers, T. D. Nates, Jr., and Franklin Mark Nates; the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Minnie B Legrand; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Nates; and a number of aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be held at 5 o’clock this afternoon in Jackson Creek Baptist Churchyard, conducted by the Rev. W. L. Gladden.

The body is at the Paschal Funeral Home.
