Elizabeth Bradley “Lib” Truesdale, 86, of Westville, passed away peacefully, Monday, November 14, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Truesdale was a longtime employee of Springs Industries with more than 40 years of service. She cherished keeping her grandchildren and loved all children. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved her family. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a Christian woman. Mrs. Truesdale was also a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. She had a passion for cooking and baking the most delicious food. Her home was always open on Sundays serving a home cooked meal to her family and anyone else who stopped by. She took joy in sharing her love, Christian faith, baking cakes for birthdays, keeping a clean house and neat yard. Although she was petite, she was a strong, courageous defender of her Christian beliefs, her family and her friends: her faithful loving kindness and generosity knew no bounds. Most of all, she exemplified God’s love in her daily walk through serving others with a cheerful heart. Her heart smiled when so many others called her Granny.
