Elizabeth Knight Robinson was born in Lower Kershaw County, SC, on March 30, 1922, she was the daughter of Rev. Willis Knight and Bertha Gantt Knight.
Elizabeth Knight Robinson, 94, of Lugoff, passed away November 3, 2016.
Up until her health started to decline, she was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist church where she served on the missionary board. She enjoyed cooking and singing, and loved to fellowship with her friends. She took part in raising her brothers and sisters 7 children.
Surviving were her daughter, Sandra Reddick; grandchildren, Tommy Outten, Scottie (Angel) Robinson, Maurice (Mayra) Robinson, Meiko Reddick, Brittany Reddick, and Chelsea Reddick; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Rayford Knight.
She was predeceased by her sons, Willis Robinson and Tyrone Robinson; siblings, Henritta Watts, Rose Harts, Frances Roberts, Joshua Knight, Moses Knight and Serena Gillian. She was the daughter of Willis Knight and Bertha Knight.
Funeral service were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Unity United Methodist Church, with burialĀ in Palmetto Cemetery. Rev. John Dicks officiated. The family received friends from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. on Sunday at Powers Funeral Home.
