Brett Morris CAMDEN –

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Gerald Brett Morris, 54, of Camden, SC, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Rev. Buster Morris will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020.

Brett, husband of Andrea Yancey, died Monday, October 24, 2016. He was born in Camden, SC, the son of Gerald C. “Jerry” Morris and Patricia Cromer Morris. He was the former manager of Morris Pest Control and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

Brett is survived by his wife and parents of Camden; children, Kelley Morris (fiancee, Bobby), of Savannah, Mamie M. Konzal (Jeff) of Atlanta, and Rush Morris of Atlanta; granddaughters, Ava Morris and Sadie Konzal; grandson, Tucker Konzal; sister, Debbie Morris McCurdy (Bobby) of Columbia; and his beloved dog, Buddy.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
