Graveside funeral services to honor the life of James Keith Blackmon, 50, of Bethune, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Brannon Cemetery in Bethune, SC. The Reverend Trent McLaughlin will officiate.

James Keith Blackmon died Saturday, April 9, 2016. He was born in Camden, SC, the son of Linda Smith Blackmon and the late Richard William Blackmon, and grandson of the late Ruby Smith and Jake Smith. He was an avid bee keeper.

Keith is survived by his mother, Linda Smith Blackmon; sisters Carolyn B. Crook (Eric) of Lancaster, SC, and Nancy B. Hinson of Lancaster, SC; niece, Megan Elizabeth Harper; nephew, Richard William Harper; and uncle, Bill Smith (Gail) of Camden, SC.

Memorials may be made to Kershaw County Hospice, 700 DeKalb Street, Camden, SC 29020, and Meyer-Thiel Animal Shelter, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC, 29020.
