Bobby Gene Anderson

August 28, 1933 – June 15, 2015

Graveside services to honor the life of Bobby Gene Anderson, 81, of Camden, SC, will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Rev. David Faile will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, prior to the service, at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Memorials may be made in Bobby’s memory to the Church of God of Prophecy, 2354 Haile Street, Camden, SC 29020.

Bobby Gene Anderson died Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born in Camden, SC, the son of the late Heyward Lee Anderson and Amy Brazell Anderson. Bobby served in the US Army.

Bobby is survived by his sons, Greg Anderson and Robert Anderson, both of Sumter, SC; brother, Willie Anderson (Dianne) of Sumter, SC; sisters, Dorothy Floyd (Emery) of Sumter, SC, Geraldine Whitley (Roger) of Rockwell, NC, Shirley Suggs of Sumter, SC, Mary Whitaker (Tyson) of Sumter, SC and Barbara Nesbitt (Ernest) of Camden, SC; and 14 grandchildren.

Bobby was predeceased by his children, Kenny Anderson, Cindy Frye, Michael Anderson and Catherine Watson; and his brothers, Johnny Anderson, Heyward Anderson and Edward Anderson.

Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
