Juanita Brown Jordan was born March 20, 1931 in Blaney, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Elmore Brown and Lura Heath Brown.

1972

On January 16, 1972, Mrs. Juanita Jordan was listed as a living daughter in the obituary of Glenn E. Brown.

1992

On March 3, 1992, Juanita Jordan was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Christine Brown Maner.

1998

On September 6, 1998, Juanita Jordan was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Leroy Bradford Brown.

2002

On August 3, 2002, Juanita Jordan was listed as a living sister in the obituary of Opal Brown Moore.

2015

Juanita Brown Jordan, 84,

Mrs. Jordan, wife of the late Alvin W. Jordan, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at KershawHealth.

She was a member of Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Women’s Ministry, Adult Sunday School Class and sang in the choir.

Surviving are her sons, Gene Jordan (Barbara) of Elgin, Dean Jordan (Nancy) of Lugoff, Randy Jordan (Arlene) of Lugoff, and Terry Jordan of Houston, Texas; sister, Clemmie “Jake” Moak (Denny) of Elgin; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters, Christine Manor and Opal Moore; and brothers, Led Brown and Leroy Brown.

Funeral service was held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church Women’s Auxiliary.
