Paul F. Hornsby was born on August 18, 1944 in Camden, he was the son of the late Joseph English Hornsby and Marie Bowers Hornsby.

Mr. Hornsby, 67, of Lugoff,  died Saturday, July 21, 2012. He was a Mason and enjoyed the outdoors.

Funeral service for were held Monday, July 23, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Todd Horton officiated. Memorial may be made to the American Lung Association.

Surviving were his wife of 45 years, Jean Threatt Hornsby; daughter, Angela Suzanne Hayes of Columbia; son, Paul Allan Hornsby of Lugoff; brothers, Joseph Hornsby, Jr. (Mildred), and Michael Hornsby (Linda); sisters, Mary Ruth Watts (Jack) and Sylvia Smith; grandchildren, Allan Joseph Hornsby, Gene Austin Hayes, and Paul Garrett Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, W.L. Hornsby.
