Funeral services for Eva Spradley Branham, 87, of Elgin, will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Ken Jackson and Reverend Ron Taylor will officiate. Pastor Joseph Covino will also speak. Active pallbearers will be James Rabon, Eric Watts, Ray Garza, Justin Garza, Jerry Love and Randy Watts. Memorials may be made in Mrs. Branham’s memory to Calvary Community Church, c/o Vickie Covino, 1177 Jordan Road, Lugoff, SC 29078.
Mrs. Branham died Friday, October 8, 2010. Born August 16, 1923 in Gaston, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James Spradley and Clara Bell Lovett Spradley. Mrs. Branham was the widow of the late Albert “Buddy” Branham. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters: Bonnie B. Rabon of Elgin and Paulette Watts Love of Supply, NC; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 5 sisters: Louise Poff of Columbia, Lois Peake of Elgin, Donna Blanchard of Camden, Leatha Watts of Elgin and Jeannie Martin of Lugoff; 2 brothers: Clyde Spradley of Elgin and David Spradley of Camden.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis B. Watts.
