CAMDEN — A memorial service for Oscar E. “Shorty” Branham, Sr. will be held Sunday, Oct. l8th, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Camden. Pastor Everett Reconnu and Rev. Ed Stokes will officiate. Visitation will follow the service.
Mr. Branham died Oct. 9th, 2009. He was born in Eastover, S.C., a son of Linder Team Branham and Mary E Hoath Branham. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a former deacon.
He loved his church, fishing and car racing.
Surviving are his wife, Lilly S. Branham, son, Oscar Branham, Jr., brother, Jack Branham, sister, Annie Mae Snyder, all of Camden, and sister, Mary Alice Mills of Lugoff.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Alfred T. Branham, Linder Team Branham, Jr. and Bernard Everett Branham. Mr. Branham was a donor to the gift of body program at the USC School of Medicine.
