LUGOFF – Funeral service for Robert C. “Bob” Sessions, 73, will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Northeast. Rev. Bill Dulaney and Rev. Everett Reconnu will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral home. Memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Kidney Foundation.

Mr. Sessions died Friday, June 12, 2009. Born December 2, 1935 in Blaney, he was a son of the late Clyburn Henry and Bernice Tucker Sessions. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was former owner of Bo-Mil Building Services.

Mr. Sessions was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mildred B. Sessions; daughters, Tina (Alason) Porth of Elgin, Robin (Davis) Moore of Elgin, Patricia Ross of Ridgeway, and Linda (Ron) Stearns of Blythewood; brother, Otis Sessions of Elgin; sister, Betty Talbert of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Gregg Sessions.
