Funeral services for Mary Ellen Diehl Anderson, 69, of Kershaw, will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Kornegay Funeral Home, Camden Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Reverend Ed Stokes will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, prior to the service. Mrs. Anderson, widow of William “Bill” Olan Anderson, died Saturday, January 17, 2009. Born in Paducah, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lewis and Susie May Bousson Diehl. She was retired from the Kershaw County Detention Center.

Surviving are her children, Erma Dubose (Perry), Karen Ginn (Bubba), Buster Anderson (Angela), all of Spartanburg, Donnie Menser of Kershaw, Tom Menser (Tammy) of Camden; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Bearinger of Tampa, FL and Joan Miller of Memphis, TN. She was predeceased by a daughter in law, Judith Menser.
